Safety
Use ShareSpace carefully. Protect your account, verify people and listings, and never share passwords, OTP codes or payment details.
OTP codes and signing
OTP codes used for electronic signing are personal and temporary. Enter them only on the ShareSpace page that requests them. Never forward them to another user or someone claiming to be support.
Payments
Payments for transactions between users are made directly using the method agreed by the parties. Never share passwords, OTP codes or full card details. ShareSpace SumUp links/checkouts are used only to pay ShareSpace subscriptions. Be cautious of unusual, urgent requests or sudden changes to payment details.
Listings and transactions
Check the description, price, location, availability and counterparty before booking or signing a contract. Important changes should be made through the ShareSpace functions provided for that purpose.
Fraud and phishing
Phishing, forged documents, identity misuse, payment manipulation, fraudulent chargebacks and fraudulent attempts to bypass the platform are prohibited. Do not open suspicious links received in chat.
Privacy and personal data
Do not publish identity documents, private addresses, financial details or sensitive information belonging to other people. Share only information genuinely required for the transaction.
Prohibited content and activity
Illegal content or transactions, stolen or counterfeit goods, illegal substances, unlawfully offered weapons or regulated items, undisclosed hazards, harassment, threats, exploitation or animal cruelty are not allowed.
Spaces and goods
Anyone OFFERING a space or item must have the right to provide it and comply with ownership, lease, permitted-use, safety and permit rules. WANTED users must use it only for lawful and agreed purposes.
Seen something suspicious?
Do not continue the transaction. Keep relevant information and report the issue to ShareSpace support. A report is assessed and is not automatically conclusive evidence.
Immediate danger
ShareSpace is not an emergency service. In case of immediate danger, credible threats or a possible crime in progress, contact the emergency services or competent authorities directly.
